34.7 million items in 6 months is definitely an impressive number. It actually means 33% more Xiaomi smartphones consumed compared to the same period last year, when they had 26 million units sold. However, the company set really high goal for 2015, with CEO and co-founder Lei Jun expected 100 million Xiaomi smartphones for the year. So they are still so in the game for this target!

Considering 2014 alone, the company made it to reach 65 million Xiaomi smartphones consumed, most of which are reported to come from their Redmi budget flagships. For this year, although the Redmi 2 and Redmi Note are still doing well, 2 other babes Mi 4 and Mi 4i are now being treated as super stars. Next on the list of potential items are the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, which have not arrived internationally.
