Nokia to rise again: New CEO and Nokia Android Nougat devices

According to reports from the Finnish company, Ex-Rovio CEO – Pekka Rantala has been appointed to become the Chief of Marketing to contribute to Nokia’s mobile business. Before switching to Rovio – the developer of Angry Birds, Rantala used to work at Nokia for 17 years in its heyday. On receiving the new duty, Rantala told CNET at an interview: “I love Nokia, I love what it stands for and I’d love to see it rise again”.

Also very currently, it was confirmed that Nokia will be launching 4 new devices this year. These mobile devices will be made under the guidance of HMD, and produced and distributed by Foxconn (who took over Nokia feature phone business from Microsoft earlier this year). These HMD-made Nokia phones will get through branding, licensing and patent access before 2016 ends.

As recent leaks are suggesting the model name Nokia P1, Nokia also claimed that they will take on newest Snapdragon processors for at least 2 of their upcoming mobiles. These devices will also pack a minimum of 4GB RAM, QHD AMOLED displays as well as water and dust resistant.
