Apple just launched the iPhone 6S Plus yesterday at a very huge event. The phone excited many people with its beautiful design and a fascinating rose gold color option. However, as it always is, the device has received mixed reactions from the public. Personally speaking, we find 4 following reasons as why not to buy this smartphones considering other choices we can switch to.

1. Very small battery, even smaller than iPhone 6

Introduced after iPhone 6, the 6S Plus is expected to carry updated specs compared to the previous one. However, while the iPhone 6 battery is 1810 mAH, the iPhone 6S Plus battery has only 1715 mAH of capacity. Even if Apple don’t want to target their newest smartphone as a battery beast, 1,715 mAH is quite under average for any smartphone nowadays. I wish they knew that our users love smartphone with decent battery that can work with them for a decent amount of time. 2. iPhone 6S Plus price in PH will be too expensive

So, do you think that it is mostly expected for a newly-launched iPhone to carry a very hefty price tag? iPhone 6S Plus price at launch date is reportedly US$ 299 when you buy together with the supplier’s service. Although US$ 299 is equivalent to PHP 15K, but there is no way iPhone 6S Plus price in Philippines would be around that price range.

Although we can not guess for now the iPhone 6S Plus price in Philippines, it could be very high at the first time on sale. So iPhone 6S Plus is definitely not a good choice for those who are looking for a good price device.

3. iPhone 6S Plus 12MP camera is not that impressive

Apple featured 12MP camera as one of the key selling points of this iPhone 6S Plus. However, at the time when we already have smartphones with 13MP camera for a mid-range price tag, will 12MP wow any users? 4. The RAM is just under average

Any tech geek or smartphone lover nowadays know that, 4GB RAM is the beast of beast. Any newly launched smartphone with 4GB of RAM and a good combination of specs can easily catch public’s attention and win our heart. Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, Huawei etc, all big and small brands now feature smartphones with popular 4GB RAM. But the iPhone 6S Plus will still come with a very moderate 1GB of RAM? Hmmm

However, beside the minus listed above, we do find other good specs of the device. To be honest, Apple have very huge amount of fans, and they must love it for a reason.

We may not like it for the tiny battery and RAM, but the iPhone 6S Plus has a very strong Aluminum that is hard to break and protect the device better than ever. Also, Apple’s signature fingerprint sensor is made faster and more secure this time. Many Apple users admit that, one of their most favorite iPhone features is the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
