Asus smart phone sales grow continually over the past few years
According to CEO Jerry Shen, the company plans to produce more than 40 million units in 2016. This is its first step to claim to the world’s 10th spot. Moreover, Asus is going to aim more at Indonesia market, since this is the 2nd largest market of Zenfones.
The company plans to ship more than 4 or 5 million units to Indonesia this year
For its India, Russia, Taiwan, Brazil and Malaysia markets, Asus plans to ship more than one million units to each. It seems the company is processing its plan to rise to world’s top ten seriously, starting this year.
As Zenfone 2 has sold more than 5 million unit in H1 2015, Asus states that it will sell 6 million more units this H2. Since Zenfone 2 has good market sales, this flagship will help them sell more than 21 million units this year.
