Recently, Asus has just held an event to introduce its new smartphones of Zenfone 3 series. They’re Asus Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser. With strong specs, their prices surprise us.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser: new mid-range member

In the end of May, Asus brought the Zenfone 3 series to the world. This lineup contains 3 members: Zenfone 3- Deluxe and Ultra. And now, the Zenfone 3 family welcomes another 2 members: Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and Asus Zenfone 3 Max. Belonging to this series, these two phones still have the standard specs of Zenfone 3. In addition, the newcomers are added with the specific features. These smartphones are made of metal and run Android 6.0.1 OS with ZenUI 3.0 on top.

The first one is Asus Zenfone 3 Max. The special feature of this handset is its 4100mAh battery capacity. However, this is a step back comparing to its forerunner. Zenfone Max sports a huge 5000mAh cell. The phone is powered by a 1,44 GHz MediaTek MT6735 64 bit. It packs a 3GB of RAM paired with a 32GB of inbuilt storage. Like Zenfone 3 Laser, you’ll find a 13MP primary camera. One more thing about Asus Zenfone 3 Max is its 5.2-inch IPS LCD display.

The second member is Laser. This phone is the successor of Zenfone 2 Laser. As its name, the highlight of the phone is the ultra-fast laser autofocus system on its camera. With this system, the 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 primary camera can focus on the object in just 0.03 seconds. The camera comes with Sony IMX214 sensor, electronic image stabilization, and a color correction sensor. In addition to Asus Zenfone 3 Laser specs, there will be a 5.5-inch FHD display coated with 2.5D glass, 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM. The device runs on 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser: price

This couple Asus phones come with fingerprint sensors which can unlock the phones in just 0.2 seconds. To introduce these two smartphones, Asus held an event in Vietnam. So, Asus Zenfone 3 Max release date and Asus Zenfone 3 Laser release date are still unknown. However, their prices are unveiled. Asus Zenfone 3 Max  and Laser surprise us with the affordable prices. Asus Zenfone 3 Max price is about $201. While Asus Zenfone 3 Laser price comes at $269.
