Final Fantasy 15 new update is available now!

Final Fantasy 15 has hit the shelves physically and digitally on November 29. Not stopping there, Square Enix has laid out its plan to release continuous updates and DLCs, both free and paid, in the coming months. The first update patch has just been released recently, and it brings something new to the game. It includes a New Game Plus mode!

This New Game Plus mode will allow players to play through the main story again after finishing the first time. All existing weapons, magic, and skills will be carried over for this second run. However, apparently this mode does not have any difficulty options yet, potentially making the second run of the game a complete piece of cake. Also, your Ultimate Blade and Regalia will return to their base states. This second run of the game may be where the additional story pieces is implemented, making the whole story more coherent and appealing for players.

This update also include a variety of Christmas-themed photo frames for Prompto’s selfies. Additionally, a full Holiday DLC pack will drop very soon. Square Enix has not shown the patch notes for this new release, so we’ll update you accordingly. In the coming months, there will be more updates and DLCs. Among them are six patch extensions, and the last of them, “Comrades”, will introduce online co-op, the first time in the series. So, there are still much to wait for after you went through the story of Noctis and his comrades.
