In March 2017, the Chinese company Gionee released the mid-range Gionee A1 smartphone and received a lot of good feedback from users. Now they decided to continue that success by launching the next product in this series: Gionee A1 Plus. First of all, this new smartphone owns a bigger display of 6 inches compared to Gionee A1. The screen is IPS LCD and offers Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels).

Moreover, other Gionee A1 Plus specs include a MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-core chipset along with 4GB RAM. For the operating system, Gionee A1 Plus runs on Android 7.0 with Amigo OS 4.0 skin on top. The smartphone also provides 64GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 256GB via card slot. Additionally, Gionee A1 Plus battery holds a large capacity of 4550mAh and supports ultra fast charging. Specifically, the battery can get full in just two hours of charging.

The main highlight of the new Gionee A1 Plus smartphone is the camera setup. On the rear, Gionee A1 Plus camera contains a dual 13MP + 5MP sensor that features phase detection autofocus and LED flash.
