Yesterday, Google officially launched the Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL smartphones. You will be impressed by all the specs the company gives us with the new releases. Before we move in the hardware department, let’s talk about these two phones’ design. The Google Pixel 2 features a 5-inch AMOLED panel of 1080p resolution On the other hand, the bigger version of the two, the Pixel 2 XL sports a 6.0-inch 2880 x 1440 P-OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Also, because of the difference in phone size, the two devices have different battery life as well. While the Google Pixel 2 XL packs a 3520 mAh battery, the smaller version only has a modest 2700 mAh cell.

Then, let’s look closer to the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL specs. Surprisingly, these two devices have almost the same specifications. Both handsets come with the powerful processor Snapdragon 835. Moreover, pairing with the chipset is the Andreno 430 GPU and 4GB RAM. One thing you should know about these new Google phones that they don’t have the microSD card slot. However, Google offers us two versions for both of the Pixel smartphones: 64GB and 128GB ROM.

Speaking of the photography system, the Pixel smartphones continue to stick with single cameras on the front and back. The setup for the two Google Pixel 2 consists of a 12.2 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Furthermore, the selfie cameras seem unchanged too with its 8MP sensor and an f/2.4 aperture. Additionally, both smartphones work on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Google Pixel 2 price starts at $649 (about Rs. 42198). On the other hand, the Google Pixel 2 XL price is higher, starting at $849 (about Rs. 55204). You can pre-order the two smartphones today and the shipping date is set on October 19.
