Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile users have been forgotten by Nintendo, they can not play Pokemon Go. The Windows users have gained 50,000 signatures, maybe 100,000 now. Even though there are some Microsoft representatives stating that they are working on it, it seems to take long time. Don’t worry! there is another way to play Pokemon Go phenomenon, which is called PoGo UWP.

PoGo UWP is a third-party client for Pokemon Go. It acts as a client between the Android version of Pokemon Go and brings its features to the Windows 10 platform. The players are connected to the same interface as players on the other mobile platforms. Playing on PoGo UWP is almost like the original version since it features many of the same tasks, which also means there are a few missing features as well as issues.  It is important to note that the app is still in beta and the developers are still working on.

First, you need to have an account, especially Pokemon Trainer Club account. In case you already have an account on Android or iOS, you don’t need to make this step. After creating a Pokemon Trainer Club account, it is necessary to login on a real Android or iOS device to activate this new account or you can use Bluestacks by installing Bluestacks app, then go to Google Play Store and download Pokemon Go then sign in to your account. Next, you need to bring Pokemon Go to your Windows phone.

Finally to play Pokemon Go….

To make this step, you need a PC and download these files:  File 1 | File 2 | File 3, which are placed in the same folder. Then enable ‘Device Portal’ on your Windows 10 phone, navigate to “Install App” and select File 1, then choose “Add Dependency” twice and select File’s 2 and 3 respectively. Find “Deploy” and then click”Go”, wait until “Done” appears and launch the app from the ‘All Apps list’. Now you can login to play Pokemon Go with Pokemon Trainer Club account.
