HTC just launched the One A9 last month, and received mixed feed backs about whether HTC or Apple copied the design from the other. Less than a month later, rumors are already leaking about the next HTC One-branded smartphone, with a model number of E56, allegedly named HTC One X9.

The HTC One X9, from what we know, will be targeted in the higher-end category. Some sources even suggest the HTC One X9 price could be around $470 (an equivalent to PHP 22,200). Now let’s read on to see what HTC offer this time to worth the price tag.

Planned to release in 2016, The HTC One X9 makes sure to equip some of the most promising features of the year. In terms of HTC One X9 specs, we will see either a premium Helio X20 or a powerful Snapdragon 820 chip set on board. We don’t know about the One X9 screen size yet (But hopefully between the most popular 5.0 and 5.5 inch), but it will be a QHD display that many users love thanks to the high quality of images.

In terms of storage, the HTC One X9 will sport 4GB RAM and 64/128GB internal memory. Also, as a way to provide more options, the handset may come with another 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant to have a better price. Although we are very likely to have 6GB RAM smartphones by 2016, 4GB is strong and smooth enough for most users. Also there is a 3,500 mAH battery to run the whole handset.

Let see if in 2016, HTC One X9 camera can beat the current King or not. Because it will need to compete with the rising Galaxy S7 camera by Samsung.
