HTC U Ultra: New High-End Device With 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM

The Taiwanese phone maker HTC is coming back strong this year with its HTC U Ultra. It has a case of sapphire glass, a secondary display and an artificial intelligence system called Sense Companion. But is this enough to compete with Samsung and Apple? Let’s read on to find out.

HTC U Ultra: New Design, 5.7 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821….

The company wants to walk a new path to regain old fans and to win new customers with its new U Ultra, a clear signal for a new beginning! Its latest flagship comes with many new features which we can be excited about: Firstly, HTC’s new smartphone is visually a real eye-catcher. Instead of the edgy metal look like the predecessors, the new U-series comes with a new elegant curvy glass design made of Gorilla Glass 5. You can decide between the beautiful colors black, white, blue and even pink.

Besides the gorgeous design the HTC Sense Companion is probably the most important innovation. It is an artificial intelligence-based system called Sense Companion which can be controlled by voice and is intended to be your helper and friend. For example, he can suggest you to wear waterproof clothes when rain is predicted. Under the hood, the new high-end product runs on Android 7.0 with HTC Sense, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 mobile processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM combined with 64 or 128 GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh and is non-removable.

The HTC U Ultra features not only high-end technology like a super sharp 16 MP rear camera combined with a 12 MP front shooter both coming with a UltraPixel mode. But also a small 2-inch secondary screen with 160 x 1040 pixels on the top of the 5.7-inch LCD QHD main screen where notifications, contacts and certain apps are displayed. In addition, it supports an USB type-c-connector, WLAN , LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and a fingerprint sensor.

HTC U Ultra: Price and Availability
