Rumors have been leaking all over the internet recently for the much-awaited Oppo R7 flagship. Fans found a hundreds of pictures and some videos clip spotting about the device. Well, Oppo has just officially confirmed the presence of Oppo R7 and another sibling Oppo R7 Plus. The Oppo R7 and R7 Plus launch date is supposed to be May 20 in China.

For now, we have the official renders of the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus designs announced by the company. Oppo R7 price in Philippines will be PHP 20,250. And there is still not official info about the R7 Plus price yet.

Both of the flagships goes with exclusive metal bodies and a 2.5D curved glass on the displays.

 

Oppo R7 capacitive buttons

Oppo R7 will feature 3 capacitive buttons on the display: Menu, Home and Back. These are part of Oppo’s signature on mobile phones.

 

Oppo R7 Plus on-screen buttons

Different from its sibling, the Oppo R7 Plus doesn’t offer capacitive buttons. The handset goes with an “Oppo” logo on the display and virtual buttons on the screen. This is a new step from Oppo since they never replaced the capacitive buttons by on-screen ones before.

Both devices are packed with Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge technology. The VOOC Flash Charge helps charging the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus battery 3,000mAh  from 0% to 75% in just 30 minutes. Great and convenient. isn’t it?

Also, we received good news from the company. Oppo R7 was certified by TENAA not long ago. And it has been revealed that the phone will have a 5” display, 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable by mircroSD card. Oppo R7 camera is 13mp for the rear and 8mp for the front. The phone sports Android 4.4.5 Kitkat and Oppo’s Color OS on top of Google’s operating system. 

On Oppo R7 launch date, the device will show up in 2 variants of processor. One is backed by Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC and the other has MediaTek’s MT6752 64-bit octa-core.
