Android phones Huawei Y3 & Y5 Prime 2018 Leak On Renders

Serial leakster Evan Blass has revealed images of 2018 edition of Huawei‘s new Y series smartphones. Blass leaked the photos through his Twitter account, giving a glimpse into the latest Huawei Y3 and Y5 Prime. However, the company still hasn’t provided any official announcement of them, while the Huawei Y6 already debuted earlier this month. The new renders shared by Blass suggest that both Huawei Y3 and Y5 Prime 2018 will arrive with a plastic unibody design. Out of the two, the Y3 seems to have the regular 16:9 display and a single camera module flanked by a LED flash on the front.

The handset sports in a golden hue colour and flaunts a dual tone finishing with glossy trimming around the edges and camera. Moreover, we can see the volume setting and the power button on the right spine. Moving on to the Y5 Prime, the device seems to have the same design but without the glossy trimming and has camera module in the top left corner. Furthermore, it equips with a taller 18:9 display covered in slimmer bezels, like the Huawei Y6 2018. We can also expect these two to have face unlock since there is no fingerprint scanner on either of them. There are no details on the Huawei Y3 & Y5 Prime 2018 specs just yet. But we think they will be similar to the previous 2017 models.

In the meantime, let’s take a look at the present Huawei Y6 2018. The handset ships with a 5.7-inch display bearing 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. There is a Snapdragon 425 processor at its core, which mates to 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Further, the Huawei Y6 camera packs a 13MP camera on the rear panel and an 8MP shooter on the front. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo system and takes power from a 3,000mAh battery. For security, there is face unlock functionality and available in three colour options – Black, Blue, and Gold.
