Instagram: save your edited pictures as draft

After testing with selected users in July, Instagram has just made the “save draft” feature officially available to everyone. The option is shown when users back out the image editing mode. A new dialog box presents you with the message: “If you go back now, your image edits will be discarded.” And then, you can choose to whether save it as draft or discard it.

However, only images that already have been edited can be saved as draft. You can crop, add a location, add a filter, tag or anything you want in order to save them. Return to the app later, hit the central “camera” icon to access your library, and you’ll see all your saved drafts at the bottom of the screen in their very own section labeled “drafts”. The feature should already be available for both iOS and Android users, so update the app to give it a go for yourself.

Obviously, Instagram new feature will be useful, especially to convince those indecisive Instagram users. You can have excessive time to edit your picture and caption before posting images. Besides, the biggest benefit might go to social media managers. They can line up several posts in draft, and then share them throughout the day.

Instagram “save draft” is a life saver

You usually spend an inordinate amount of time making sure that your filters are impeccably vintage. Or  you are in too much of a hurry to spend a full 30 seconds to post a photo?
