iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED: why and how?

Apple has just confirmed the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED as a new color variant of the latest iPhone. This variant is called (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition. This is also a part of Apple’s (PRODUCT)RED program, which was started 10 years ago. The aim of (PRODUCT)RED was to support AIDS prevention and research. Apple fans observed a successful launch of the RED iPod Nano. The introduction of the two RED iPhones is expected to “bring us a step closer to an AIDS‑free generation”.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED will have a red aluminum finish. So far the selling of Apple’s (RED) products has raised $130 million for the program and will contribute more in the future. Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED are obviously a new color. The RED phones will have the same iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus specs and features. A new version of the iPhone, known as iPhone 8, will not be released until this September. iPhone 8 rumors have been all about wireless charging, an OLED screen, and a steel frame. The new RED edition will only come in with 128GB and 256GB storage versions.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus RED will be available on Apple’s website from March 24 and will soon arrive in the Indian market in April. The price is said to start from Rs. 82,000.
