Lenovo Z2 Plus: India launch with 4GB RAM, SND820 and 3500 mAH

After a success of Zuk Z2 in China last May,  Lenovo Z2 plus, the rebranded version of Zuk Z2, is going to launch in India market. Let’s go through some notable features of the smartphone with us!

Lenovo Z2 Plus: two variants available

As for the device itself, it will be launched in two variants: 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage. Both will support dual-Sim: 4G SIM card in one slot, and 3G SIM card in the other. Unlike its former, Lenovo Z2 Plus does not run Cyanogen OS, but features with Google Now Launcher pre-installed. Furthermore, the smartphone is integrated with a dedicated pedometer (an app for measuring how far you walk)  and U-health app from the manufacture. 

The Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch  display with 2.5D curved glass with full HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.1GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and an Adreno 530 GPU. Lenovo Z2 Plus India features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, EIS technology, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The new smartphone is backed up by a 3500 mAh battery capacity which supports impressively fast charging – up to 80 percent in one hour.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus is equipped with U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint scanner. Not only does the scanner unlock the device in 0.1 seconds, but it also recognizes wet fingerprints. Lenovo Z2 Plus also allows other features such as Long screenshot, Carrier Aggregation, 3G Fallback, Quick toggle notification panel, etc.

Lenovo Z2 Plus: price and release date

Lenovo Z2 Plus release date will be on this Thursday, 22nd September. It comes with Black and White colors and is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the 3GB /32GB and the 4GB RAM/64GB variant costs Rs. 19,999.
