LG Stylus 3 announced: 3GB RAM, 13MP camera

Recently, ahead of the huge trade show CES 2017, LG offically launched their latest Stylus series – LG Stylus 3 – in all of its affordable glory. lg stylus 3

LG Stylus 3: The successor of Stylus 2

This Stylus 3 is the third in the South Korean tech giant’s affordable stylus range. LG is continuing to give this line of handsets two different yet similar names. Stylus is LG’s budget-friendly stylus line products. With a more sensitive, narrower fiber tip to give that real pen feel and finer point of contact. You can take note on the lock screen, a proximity sensor if your phone strays too far from the stylus and automatic memo apps.

The phone has an impressive feature list, with a removable battery, expandable storage, fingerprint scanner and Android 7.0. This phone is called the competitor of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with similar functions. However, keep in mind that Stylus isn’t as premium and doesn’t have as many features as the Samsung’s Note line. The Stylus has a plastic construction, a 720p display, its processor isn’t as fast, and it is not water resistant.

LG Stylus 3 comes with a 5.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (~258 pixels per inch). The phone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor and 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. Stylus 3 packs a 13 MP primary camera and a 8 MP selfies camera. It is fueled by a 3200mAh removable battery. In America, it will be called Stylo 3, while other markets will get it as the Stylus 3.

LG Stylus 3: A Stylus phone at an affordable price

With the good-looking design, LG Stylus 3 will be available in Metallic Titan and Pink Gold. Pricing and a release time frame have not been announced for now. Are you looking forward to this new mid-range smartphone from LG?
