LG V30 Plus gets AI camera with Android 8.0 Oreo update!

LG V30 Plus is one of the members of LG’s flagship V lineup smartphone. Now, the company starts finally rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the LG V30+ in India. With the new update, the LG phone offers the AI camera feature and June security patches. In addition, it also changes the branding in the UI from LG V30+ to LG V30 ThinQ. On the other hand, AI feature analyses the subjects in a frame and recommends one of four filters.

They are based on a total of eight categories: people, pets, food, flowers, city, landscape (sea/ sky), sunset or sunrise. Next, let’s take a look at LG V30+ specs. LG V30 Plus offers a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. Under the hood, LG V30+ runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Additionally, LG V30+ sports 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM which is expandable up to 2TB via a MicroSD card.

Besides that, in terms of the capacity, LG V30+ battery rocks a non-removable 3300mAh juice box. In addition, regarding the optics department, LG V30+ camera system packs a dual 16MP (f/1.6) + 13MP (f/1.9) rear sensor. Meanwhile, the front-facing shooter has 5MP for the selfies and video calling.
