LG V30 review: 4GB RAM, Bluetooth 5.0, 128GB ROM

LG wasn’t really a top tier brand when it comes to smartphones. However, it all changed when they introduced the V line. Recently, the newest addition has made quite a name for itself. Let’s see what it brings to the table in our LG V30 review.

LG V30 review: Mobile photography powerhouse

Our first impression of the V30 is “this phone looks pretty neat.” The shine from the metallic back gives off a prestigious look. Two circular rings, one marks the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, the other marks the dual camera. Hard, slightly curved frame forms the edges of the device. On the other side, a bezel-less screen boasts a massive 81.2% screen-to-body ratio. Overall, the phone got the look of both a deluxe accessory and a masculine tech gadget.

Regarding hardware, LG brings something unique to the market this time. First, the display is a 6-inches screen QUAD HD resolution. What special about this screen is that it uses P-OLED technology instead of AMOLED. Inside the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset model 835. The LG V30 RAM sports 4GB along with 128GB storage. There is also a 64GB storage option. Both are expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD.

If you love photography, then you will love this handset. The LG V30 Camera features a dual 16+13MP camera. Unlike other flagships, the V30 primary lens has a crystal clear lens instead of a plastic one. In practice, It produces a much more realistic result with darker black and brighter whites. There is also the Cine video feature in the camera mode to help you create professional video contents.
