Motorola Moto E5 series: 5000mAh battery, 18:9 display and RapidCharge support!

After the debut of the Moto G6 duo, Motorola has already released another line: Moto E5 series. One of the two devices comes with 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 430 and an 8MP selfie cam. Keep reading for more details!

Starting with the Moto E5 Plus! It’s the first phone in the E-series that flaunts a glass-sandwich design and a Max Vision 18:9 display with thin bezels on the sides. Moto E5 Plus specs pack a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. Underhood, the smartphone takes power from a Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage space. Optics-wise, the Moto E5 Plus camera features a 12MP primary sensor (f/2.0), laser autofocus, and PDAF tech.

At the front, it gets an 8MP shooter (f/2.2). Also, the E5 Plus runs Android Oreo out of the box and offers Moto enhancements on top. The highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5,000mAh power box that comes with RapidCharge support. Now coming to the Moto E5 specs, it ships with 5.7-inch Max Vision 18:9 display with a screen resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. At its core, the handset features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor mated to 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

For imaging, the Moto E5 camera gets a 13MP f/2.0 camera with PDAF on the rear and a 5MP shooter up-front for selfies. Rest of the specs including the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner remain the same. However, the battery capacity is slightly smaller compared to the Plus model, which is at 4,000mAh. The Moto E5 Plus will be available in Black, Flash Grey, Mineral Blue, and Fine Gold colour variants. On the other hand, the Moto E5 only comes in two options: Flash Gray and Fine Gold.
