Meizu Pro 7 smartphone 2017: 6GB RAM, 12MP, 5.62″screen

People have been talking about the new Meizu Pro 7 phone non-stop because of its promise to feature a secondary display on the rear. Our source reports that the Meizu Pro 7 release date is right around the corner, in July 2017. Let’s check out what’s impressive about this flagship:

The main reason why the new Meizu Pro 7 phone is in the spotlight is the news about a secondary display on the back of the phone. It’s not the first time a smartphone contains dual display as Russian Yotaphone has done it before. The second small e-ink display is on the rear of the phone, below the cameras to help users conveniently check notifications with just a brief look.

Besides that, the new Meizu Pro 7 specs contain a main screen on the front of 5.62-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, offering full HD central display. Moreover, Meizu Pro 7 platform runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and has Mediatek MT6799 Helio X30 chipset. Furthermore, there are two versions of Meizu Pro 7: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

So far, there is speculation that Meizu is going to release two variants of the new Meizu Pro 7 phone: one with a single camera (4GB RAM) and one with dual cameras (6GB RAM). The 4GB version, single-cam Meizu Pro has a 12MP shooter on the rear and 5MP front snapper. Also, the dual-cam version has Dual 16MP first shooter and 13MP front one. That is all we have learned so far about this new flagship specs.

Despite what we have heard about the new Meizu Pro 7 phone, up to this point, other information about this smartphone remains unclear. However, a recent source has slipped out that Meizu Pro 7 happens to launch on July 26th this year. Meizu has not let us know the price tag yet, but some say it is around Rs.29, 990 (~$ 465).
