Nokia 6 registrations: spectacular number

Yesterday we just reported that Nokia 6 will be available in China on January 19 at 10 AM through JD.com, the country’s biggest online retailer. However, it is ready for registration yesterday, January 11. The reservations on website are not open 24/7 for some unknown reasons. Right now you can’t register to get one, but a new window will open in a few hours.

The Nokia 6 registrations seem to be quite successful if we look at the spectacular number of registration. In few hours yesterday, it got more than 250,000 people interested in it. However, the registration system in China is different as what we have known. With just a CNY 66 ($9 or €9) deposit required, you will be among the first to pick one up when it actually goes on sale. It means that 250,000 registrations have not bought the phone. Some of those registrations will not actually turned into sales.
