OPPO has officially announced their new OPPO F5 with 6-inch FHD+ display and 20MP selfie camera. Let’s check out its specs and some noticeable features with us.

OPPO is famous for its focus on the selfie features and camera. This time OPPO F5 is also not an exception. It is developed from the previous model, the OPPO F3 and made in the ratio of 18:9 screen; 6-inch panel and its resolution is 2160 x 1080 – the standard of 18:9 display. This screen sure can give users with more delightful experience in photoshooting, reviewing and editing pictures. At the back, OPPO placed the F5 fingerprint sensor and they also offer face unlock feature.

As mentioned, OPPO made their devices with focus on the camera and selfie features. The OPPO F5 sports a dual of 16MP f/1.8 camera at the back and a 20MPsensor front shooter with f/2.0 lens. It seems that OPPO is the only manufacturer in the market focusing more on the front camera. This time, OPPO also integrated the AI into their mode of automatically refine the input pictures for best selfie experience. The new integrated AI system is announced to be capable of 200 positioning spots, which can identify the facial features and automatically enhance the symmetry of users’ facial features for best selfie pictures.

Background blurring is something remarkable on this device. It is integrated into the Portrait Mode, helping you produce a professional background blurred pictures like it is taken by a professional camera. OPPO F5 runs on a Helio P23 chipset, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, dual SIM card slots and 3200 mAH battery. You can also choose the variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

According to what we’ve got so far, the OPPO F5 will be available in Philippines from October 27 for $310. Shortly, the device will available in other South East Asia markets like India, Malaysia and Indonesia.
