Recently, OPPO sub-brand Realme has unveiled their latest member of the Realme series: Realme 2. You can catch all the details about this new device HERE! On another hand, it seems like this is not the only new handset with this name. Just this week, OPPO Indian division hints that they still have “one more thing to surprise you, see you in September”. According to our source, this can mean the arrival of the Pro version!

Meanwhile, the first video teaser of this Realme phone also hints at a smaller notch and lack of a Diamond-pattern back panel. Surprisingly, the company CEO Madhav Sheth today shares with a YouTuber a more in-depth look into the upcoming OPPO Realme 2 Pro’s design and hardware. Under the hood, the new Realme device is going to run on the Snapdragon 660 chipset, quite an update from the Snapdragon 450 on the Realme 2.

Regarding the display, the OPPO Realme 2 Pro specs sport a 6.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 ratio). Furthermore, the new Realme phone comes running on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Under the hood, the Realme 2 Pro offers 4GB RAM and decent 64GB ROM. We can expect it to have a microSD card which can expand to 256GB of storage too. In term of the photography setup, the OPPO Realme 2 Pro camera includes a dual 16MP cameras on the back. Meanwhile, there is another 8MP selfie lens up front. As for the battery, this OPPO handset can rock a non-removable Li-Ion 4230mAh juice box.
