Excitement again for players: a supposedly leaked image of an Overwatch new hero, called Sombra, has appeared online. Also, details about the next Halloween event are also included in this leak. Let’s have a look!

Overwatch new hero and Halloween event: Excitement ahead for gamers

It seems that the Overwatch new hero teased by Blizzard has been shown to us early. However, this is beyond the developer’s expectation. An image claimed to be of Sombra has been posted to Imgur, Gyazo, and DeviantArt. It is reported to be taken from an internal website of Blizzard. She is labeled “one of the world’s best and most notorious hackers”. The internal website of Blizzard said that Sombra would hack her way into the build later. Of course, unless the developer is making another game, this seems to be Sombra in the flesh.

Sombra’s design is special too. She seems to hold a submachine gun and wear some type of special gloves. About her bio, she used to work for a Mexican gang, the Los Muertos, until she became wanted y many that she had to go underground. She then joined the Talon organization, where her fellow heroes Reaper and Widowmaker also work. Hopefully, we can get confirmation on this Overwatch new hero soon!

The leak of Sombra has also revealed a seemingly new game mode. Players might have to protect a castle from he so-called “Zomnics and Dr. Junkenstein’s evil allies”. Dr. Junkenstein is likely Junkrat in Halloween outfit. There has been  leaked issue of an Overwatch comic book, where characters dress in costumes of Halloween theme. Coincidentally, Halloween is coming soon. So, another event might be on the way!

Of course, the information above is just from a leak, which means it’s not official. We have to wait for Riot Games’ statement. However, with Blizzard’s track records of festive events, we can be almost certain that at least a Halloween event is coming soon. Hopefully the same will happen to Sombra too!
