Sony’s PS4 third party controllers coming soon!

For a long time, PS4 owners have been very envious of Xbox One’s Elite controller (well, many of them). The Dual-shock controller that comes with PS4 is just like that of the PS3’s controller. What’s worse, the compatibility with other devices other than PS4 is very limited. However, that will change very soon. Sony has just announced recently that the company has licensed Razer and Nacon to produce controllers for the newest generation of PlayStation. The one from Razer will be called Razer Raiju, while the one from Nacon is called Nacon Revolution.

The Razer Raiju, at first glance, looks quite similar to a Dual-Shock controller. However, it is clearly bigger in size. There are two symmetrical thumbsticks, with the ace buttons and D-pad on the sides. There is an extra row of audio control buttons, which is used to manage voice chat. There are also two additional triggers and bumpers on the back of the controller, and two hot buttons for switching between configured profiles. The additional buttons will benefit those playing online games a lot.

On the other hand, the Nacon Revolution resembles Microsoft’s Xbox One default controller, with the left thumbstick being moved to the op half of the device. There will be a PC application for the controller, which will allow you to create up to four configuration profiles for convenient use. There will also be additional four buttons on the back of the controller, for extra functions. This also looks like a promising controller!

PS4 third party controllers: Good news for PS4 owners!

For now, the price and release date details for the Razer and Nacon PS4 controllers is still unknown. However, this news is really worth celebrating for PS4 owners. Are you excited for these new controllers?
