We cannot deny that Microsoft is not doing so great on Smartphone market.  Even so, a huge brand like HP still wants Windows OS for their new phone. Then why producers still choose Win OS?

Window OS: so many potentials

Although the Continuum function hasn’t been carried out as well as people expected, the idea is still a very attractive. Let’s imagine you are allowed to use your phone as a laptop. All you need to do is to connect to a Tv and keyboard. Your vacation will never be jeopardized because of working emergency. Besides that, Window is also trying to invent something new on Windows OS instead of copying from others OS. These make OEM claimed that they still can see the potential of Windows phone.They believe, Windows 10 will eliminate others OS in the near future.

Another noticeable feature of Windows OS is the universal apps (Universal Windows Platform).  The app developers only need to write their programme once and those apps will run on all Win OS devices, even on Hololens. This will only save their work but also save their money on building programmes. Therefore they can develop more signature apps with better functions and more profit. Furthermore, they can maintain just one source code for all devices that they sell.

 

Windows appeals are not only phones. There are still others ambition projects that they planning on doing. For instances, there are artificial intelligent chatbox on Skype, advanced picture processing, Azure Cloud infarct structure, Xbox ecosystem, AR projects of their own or corporate with Oculus,…If these projects executed excellently, they will make great changes in our technology world.
