Rockstar has put up an official poster, noting that on Thursday, October 20 at 11 AM EST, a trailer will be released. For now, that’s all we know from the publisher.

Right after that, research firm Cowen & Company has predicted that the game could sell at least 15 million copies, and that is just being modest! In its statement, the firm said that the prediction comes from the fact that the first game was a critically acclaimed hit, and has grown in stature over the years. As of February 2012, Red Dead Redemption sold 13 million copies. Right after the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar’s parent company, Take Two, saw its stock price went up by quite a lot.

For now, we don’t know much about the game. On the poster, we can see 7 people, each wielding guns, from pistol to shotgun. There are speculation that his game could be a prequel to the first game. However, Rockstar has left a message that this game will have multiplayer mode. Rockstar’s GTA V, released in 2013, has earned more than $500 million. So, we expect the mode to be good as well!
