Samsung foldable phone doesn’t sound strange to us. We’ve heard about it so many times before but we haven’t known how it will look like. Now, we have a chance to see this handset.

Samsung is one of the smartphone giants in the market. This brand always brings the creative innovations to their product. They are the first brand to produce the first big phone (more than 5.0-inch) to the market. They are the first brand to equip Super AMOLED display into the products and the first one to release dual curved edge display handsets. Samsung also came up with the “crazy” idea of making the foldable phone in 2015.

We have been waiting for a long time to see this foldable device. Now, we have a chance to see this phone thanks to the patent application. Or what it looks like to be more specific. What makes this phone interesting is that is will be a flip phone when you fold it. However, the two parts of the device won’t be parallel. When the phone is not folded, it’s a huge display phone.

On the front of this foldable phone, you can easily see the signature of Samsung with the home button. The back button is one the right and the menu button is on the left. The ratio of the display is estimated to be about 21:9. This new device will come to the market under the name of Samsung Galaxy X.

Samsung is not the first brand to come up with a foldable phone project. LG or Lenovo used to introduce the similar one before. However, this Korean giant is the forerunner in smartphone technology. So, Samsung could be the one turning this idea into reality first. This phone could help Samsung gain back their sales after the loss from Galaxy Note 7.
