Samsung Galaxy Note 9 hardware revealed on Geekbench

A suspicious Samsung Galaxy Note 9 model has surfaced on Geekbench with an Exynos 9820 SoC. This is unlike the previous Galaxy Note 9 revelations that were hinting at the presence of an Exynos 9810 SoC on the global version of the next Galaxy Note model. Meanwhile its US counterpart is so far speculated to have the Snapdragon 845 SoC, similar to the Galaxy S9 family. Coming towards the scores, the Geekbench listing shows that the mysterious Galaxy Note 9 has received a single-core score of 4,089; and multi-core score of 12,246.

These are higher than what the Snapdragon 845 chip was found to have received earlier this year. For comparison, the Snapdragon version notably received a single-core score of 2,190 and multi-core score of 8,806. It is unclear whether Samsung will install the Exynos 9820 chip on the final Galaxy Note 9 model, or it is so far just prototypes. Moreover, the new chip could also be based on 7nm process. To sum up all the information, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specs include a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED (1440 x 2960 pixels) and an 18:5:9 ratio.

Meanwhile, the phone gets power from Exynos 9820 octa. Under the hood, the handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3850mAh juice box with Quick Charge 2.0 support. Besides that, the Galaxy Note 9 hardware sports 6GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB ROM (expandable up to 512GB). In addition, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 camera system equips a dual 12MP (f/1.5-2.4) + 12MP (f/2.4) snapper on the back. Also, there is an 8MP selfie shooter (f/1.7) up-front.
