Samsung Galaxy S7 to feature Sony camera sensor

Initially, Sony planned to keep this sensor only for the Xperia smartphones, so that they can keep the top position in smartphone camera battle. However, Samsung is negotiating and who knows, their strategies could change any minute. If you want to make a prediction, please keep in mind that, Sony is having quite a tough time in terms of sales for the past years, despite the success of several good products. (Like the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia M5 Dual, Xperia Z5 etc). Meanwhile, Samsung, regardless of some ups and downs, has never lost their market shares or the number of global shipments.

It is a long way ahead to know whether Sony would sell their IMX 300 for Samsung or not. But if they do, we can totally expect Samsung Galaxy S7 camera to be the next winner of “best smartphone camera” title! Because who knows, Samsung Galaxy S7 camera could really reach the maximum of IMX 300, which is 25MP!!
