Back at the MWC 2018 event, Sony has unveiled their latest two flagships Sony Xperia XZ2 and another XZ2 Compact model. Then on July 10th, the Sony company officially announced that Xperia XZ2 Premium would be available for sale on July 11. This handset comes with an impressive feature, the 5.8-inch 4K HDR display. This makes the device the world’s first Snapdragon 845 flagship with the 4K screen. With the X-Reality mobile image engine and BRAVIA TV technology, the display effect is exquisite.

In terms of Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium specs, they include a capacitive touchscreen with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). On the other hand, regarding the hardware department, the Xperia XZ2 Premium gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset as the processor, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Moreover, there is a MicroSD card that can expand the storage up to 400GB. Furthermore, the Xperia XZ2 Premium battery packs a non-removable 3400mAh juice box and Quick Charge 3.0 charge.

In term of the optics department, the Xperia XZ2 Premium camera system packs a dual 19MP (f/1.8) + 12MP B/W (f/1.6) rear sensor. Meanwhile, the front-facing lens sports a 13MP shooter (f/2.0). Besides, this Sony phone uses a black and white dual-camera solution and Moto Eye colour. Under the hood, the Xperia XZ2 Premium runs on Android 8.0 Oreo as the operating system.
