Sony Xperia Z4 benchmark: 5.1″FHD, 64 bit, 3GB, Snapdragon 810 & 20MP camera

Today is quite a busy day with a huge wave of info about some upcoming long-awaited flagship smartphones. First of all, it’s about the new LG G4 which we can see the device in the next month. And now, the next turn is about our mysterious Sony Xperia Z4 which was missed its appearance in MWC 2015.

Therein, the phone with a device code-named Sony E6553 was unveiled in GFXBench which showcased some specific detail. For starters, it highly looks like Sony will keep the same resolution as their other devices in portfolio, meaning FHD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. Moreover, the phone will reportedly come with 5.1-inch display, powered by 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with four ARM Cortex-A57 and four Cortex-A53 cores, Adreno 430 graphics, full 3 GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage onboard. In addition to, the camera is quite impressive with 19-megapixel main camera and a 4.8-megapixel selfie shooter. The device in question runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop which is a logical thing nowadays.
So, many of you will wonder: “Why do you know that is the new Sony Xperia Z4?”. Well, firstly, the hardware shipped with the code name E6553 is adaptable with what we’d expect in a 2015 flagship. The next thing, the code name itself reveal something interestingly and it’s not a concidence, of course. Looking back to the past, Sony unveiled the Xperia Z was C6603, the Xperia Z2 was named D6503 the Xperia Z3 was D6603 in 2014. The jump from ‘D’ to ‘E’ in this case represents the year in which the device was manufactured. These two factors along with some previous rumors, leaks so far suggest that what we’re looking at could be the first legitimate specs reveal as far as the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 is concerned.
