Xiaomi Mi 6X: dual cameras, 3500mAh battery

Previously, Xiaomi introduced the mid-range variant of Mi 5: Mi 5X in July 2017. Similarly, there has been much rumours about the upcoming tone-down version of the Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship: Xiaomi Mi 6X. Recently, we came across many leaked photos of this Xiaomi handset. In details, the images reveal the rear panel of the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone, which showcase the camera lens on the back.

Moreover, it also shows the cutouts for dual camera setup. The two lens locate vertically with a LED flash module in between. On the other hand, there is also another empty hole at the centre. However, it is a bit too small to be a fingerprint sensor. There is also an antenna line design and curved sides. Overall, the Xiaomi Mi 6 frame is made of metal. In term of the display, Xiaomi Mi 6 specs sport a 5.15-inch IPS LCD with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is going to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Regarding the storage, this Xiaomi handset offers 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM (no card slot). In term of the photography, Xiaomi Mi 6 camera includes dual 12MP (f/1.8, 27mm, 1/2.9″, 1.25 µm, 4-axis OIS) + 12MP (f/2.6, 52mm, 1 µm) rear snappers. Other features include 2x optical zoom, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash, check quality. On the other hand, there is also an 8MP selfie shooter. As for the battery, Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a 3500mAh juice box. Finally, this Xiaomi smartphone is going to have Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) as the operating system.

For now, Xiaomi hasn’t released further information about this Xiaomi handset. However, we can look forward to more details about the Xiaomi Mi 6’s availability in March 2018.
