Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S battery features wireless charging!

In a Mi Mix 2s teaser image posted on Xiaomi official Weibo account, the brand shows off a power symbol floating above a circular charging pad. The teaser indicates that the function will arrive on its new handset, Mi MIX 2S. Wireless charging appears on the latest Mi Mix series flagship, which is the brand’s first smartphone to flaunt this feature. Besides, Mi MIX 2S is also the world’s first smartphone to have an all-screen display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Last year, Xiaomi joined the Wireless Power Consortium. Since then, the brand has expected to include wireless charging support for its high-end offering. The company is likely to launch wireless charging pads in the future, which could be much more affordable than the currently available accessories. Apart from the Mi Mix 2S, the brand’s upcoming Mi series flagship, Xiaomi Mi 7, might also come with wireless charging as well.

Regarding Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S specs, the device sports a large 6.01-inch OLED screen with the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, the device packs a massive 4400mAh battery with 7.5W fast/wireless charging and Android 8.0 Oreo. Also, there expects Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM (expand to 256GB). Also, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S camera includes a dual 12MP rear sensor (one is Sony IMX363 sensor). Besides, there is a 5MP selfie camera notch on the top right corner of the display.
