1. Sony G8441

First of all, let’s meet a Sony smartphone coded as G8441. Yeah, we bet it’s gonna have a better name than that, but still need to wait a few days more for the company’s official announcement. Some recent reports have mentioned that it was listed on a Polish retailer’s website not long ago and lately has appeared in a benchmarking database. As usual, some of Sony G8441 specs were revealed, including a Snapdragon 835 processor.

Other features are an HD screen (though, no words have been made for its size), a combo of 8MP rear + 8MP front camera, Android O OS, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Price-wise, the listing on the Polish retailer’s website said that it would cost around $740. Well, despite knowing that not all information before launch is always 100% right, we guess this Sony G8441 phone may have something more or it has to have something more to be worth such a price tag. Hopefully everything will be clearer in the next weeks.

2. ASUS ZenFone 4 Max ZC554KL

Next, we’ve got an ASUS phone named ZenFone 4 Max. Spec-wise, it boasts a 5.5-inch S-IPS LCD Full HD display, a Snapdragon 430 chip, ASUS ZenUI 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, 32/64GB of expandable ROM and 4GB of RAM. In addition to ASUS ZenFone 4 Max specs, there are a set of dual 13MP f/2.0 main (with autofocus and LED flash) + 8MP f/2.2 selfie cam to assist users in capturing things and a huge 5,000mAh batt supporting fast charging tech to fuel the machine.

3. Samsung Galaxy Note FE

Samsung Galaxy Note FE is kind of a new name, but actually a reborn Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Of course, it has to have some differences compared to the Note 7 to attract people, and one of them is the Android 7.1.1 Nougat being the main OS instead of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Furthermore, if you remember, due to some problem with its battery, Samsung Galaxy Note7 was “well-known” for catching on fire, but now everything is solved and the device is equipped with a new cell capable of 3,200mAh, smaller than the original, yet safer. Other Samsung Galaxy Note FE specs are a 5.7-inch 2K Super AMOLED always-on screen, TouchWiz UI, an Exynos 8890 chipset, 64GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB), 4GB RAM, a package of 12MP primary + 5MP secondary snapper, IP68 certification, and fast charging technology. Samsung Galaxy Note FE price is around $611.

4. Sony Xperia XZ Premium

Okay, our no. 4 is Sony Xperia XZ Premium. It was launched in February but has just been available for sale recently. As you know, Sony Xperia XZ Premium specs offer a 5.46-inch Triluminos 4K display, Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box, a Snapdragon 835 chip set, 64GB of internal memory (expandable), 4GB RAM, IP68 certification, a 19MP f/2.0 rear-facing + 13MP f/2.0 front shooter duo, and a 3,230mAh cell supported by Quick Charge 3.0. Sony Xperia XZ Premium price is about $837 for those who want to purchase it.

5. Essential PH-1

Coming up next in our 10 best 4GB RAM smartphones for July list is Essential PH-1. It is built of titanium like an exoskeleton which is claimed to be “harder, stronger, and more resilient than aluminum” by the company. In terms of Essential PH-1 specs, here are some key features you need to note: a 5.71-inch Quad HD LTPS IPS LCD screen, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM (non-expandable), Android 7.1 Nougat OS, and a 3,040mAh battery with fast charging. As for photography, you can use its dual camera system on the back (13MP RGB + Mono camera with image fusion technology & 13MP True Monochrome mode f/1.85) or 8MP f/2.2 sensor on the front to take pictures. Essential PH-1 price is around $749.

 

6. Motorola Moto Z2 Play

Moto Z2 Play is a new member of the Moto Z series. It comes with decent features that can perform most tasks well, such as a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, a Snapdragon 626 octa-core 2.2GHz chip, 32/64GB of internal storage (expandable) paired with 3/4GB RAM, and a 3,000mAh cell with fast charging. About taking photos, there are a 12MP f/1.7 rear (with phase detection and laser autofocus, and dual LED flash) and a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing camera on board to help capture anything you like. Moto Z2 Play price starts around $495.

7. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max

Number 7 is a Samsung smartphone called Galaxy J7 Max, which was launched not long ago. Spec-wise, it packs a big 5.7-inch PLS Full HD screen, a Helio P20 octa-core 2.4GHz chipset, Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box, 32GB of expandable ROM, 4GB of RAM, a 13MP f/1.7 main (with autofocus and LED flash) + 13MP f/1.9 secondary (with LED flash) snapper combo, and a 3,300mAh batt. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max price is $287 if you wanna buy it.

8 + 9. Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus

Next is a Vivo duo handset: Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus. First, let’s talk about Vivo X9s specs. They include a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Funtouch OS 3.1 on top, a Snapdragon 652 chip set, 64GB of non-expandable ROM, 4GB of RAM, a 3,320mAh battery and fast charging. Specially, the phone offers a really cool camera package consisting of a 16MP rear (with PDAF plus LED flash) and a dual 20MP+5MP front (with LED flash) shooter. Your shots are gonna be fantastic!

Meanwhile, its sibling, Vivo X9s Plus, sports a larger 5.85-inch AMOLED Full HD display, a Snapdragon 653 chip under the hood, and a more spacious 4,015mAh batt. Apart from them, other Vivo X9s Plus specs are the same as the X9s. Vivo X9s price is CNY 2,698 (or $396) and Vivo X9s Plus price is CNY 2,998 (or $440). Then, which one do you prefer?

10. Archos Diamond Alpha

Finally, let’s say hi to Archos Diamond Alpha. Spec-wise, it carries a 5.2-inch Full HD display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 652 processor, 64GB of ROM (expandable) coupled with 4GB of RAM, and a 2,950mAh battery. Additionally, Archos Diamond Alpha specs also have a pretty awesome cam duo: dual 13MP system with autofocus and LED flash on the back, and 16MP f/2.2 sensor on the front. Archos Diamond Alpha price is around $345.
