1. Xiaomi Mi Max
Recently, Xiaomi has officially announced Xiaomi Mi Max release date to be May 10, 2016. So, there are just some days left before we welcome a brand new member of the Xiaomi team. Besides, MIUI 8 will also debut and it is very likely that the Max smartphone will run on this UI, based on Android Marshmallow OS.
In terms of Xiaomi Mi Max specs, the main selling point will probably be its 6.4-inch Full HD screen on the front. Meanwhile, the rest of the hardware will be the same as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. Then, it means a Snapdragon 650 chip, 2GB RAM, a 16MP primary + 5MP selfie camera combo and a 4,050mAh battery will be in charge of running the whole machine. Let’s wait and see!
2. Blackview BV6000
This is a rugged handset equipped with many outdoor-centric features and strong specifications. Speaking specifically, Blackview BV6000 specs will contain a handy 4.7-inch HD screen, a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor paired with Mali T860 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (expandable). Additionally, the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a large 4,500mAh batt, a set of 13MP OV f/2.0 rear plus 5MP OV5670 front (with 85 degrees wide angle lens) shooter, and IP68 protection for being water, dust, and shock resistant also get on board to power the device. Let’s look forward to this rugged guy in May 2016 for less than $200.
3. Huawei Honor V8
A new Huawei smartphone is coming, named Huawei Honor V8. The official Huawei Honor V8 launch will also take place on May 10 like the Xiaomi Mi Max. Though, this is a high-end flagship with a dual camera setup like Huawei P9 (consisting of two 12 MP sensors on the back). In addition to Huawei V8 specs, it is said to boast a Kirin 950 chipset, 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an 8MP selfie snapper, and a 3,000mAh cell. Huawei Honor V8 price can be around 2,000 Yuan (or $308).
4. 360 N4
The phone not only looks good in a full metal body but also owns a pretty strong hardware. Basically, 360 N4 specs will include a Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual main cam setup, a Full HD display, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. Moreover, there is 4GB RAM said to be under the hood to power the entire phone. A full sheet of 360 N4’s hardware will be revealed at its launch on May 9, 2016. Let’s wait and see!
5 + 6. Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7
Samsung Galaxy C series is claimed to be another budget and mid-range smartphone line-up of the company. It is totally new and will introduce its 2 first members C5 and C7 to people in May. Not long ago, a model coded as SM-C5000 showed up on Geekbench benchmark, giving some detailed specifications such as a Snapdragon 617 1.5GHz chip, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, and 4GB RAM. However, we don’t know if it is the upcoming Galaxy C5 or not.
7. ZTE V7 Max
ZTE V7 Max specs offer a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, an octa-core MediaTek chip, 32GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB), and 3/4GB RAM. As for camera, the main one is capable of 16 megapixels with PDAF and the secondary snapper is 8 megapixels. A decent 3,000mAh cell is in charge of supply energy to the whole device. ZTE V7 Max price will be 1,799 Yuan ($277) for the 3GB + 32GB version and 1,999 Yuan ($308) for the 4GB RAM + 32GB ver.
