Antutu list: 10 of the most powerful smartphones of Q1

So, we’ve already seen the Antutu report for the Q1 of 2016. Now, it’s time to find out what its top 10 smartphones have!

1. Xiaomi Mi5

Xiaomi must be very proud of their flagship Mi5. Spec-wise, it has everything we need for a powerful handset: a 5.15-inch Full HD screen with 428 ppi, a 16MP/4MP camera combo, an Snapdragon 820 chip, MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and up to 3 choices over RAM and ROM capacity: 3GB/32GB, 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB.

Nevertheless, you should also note that the first version employs a Snapdragon 820 1.8GHz chipset while the others use an SD 820 2.15GHz one. We’re sure the Xiaomi Mi5 taken into the Antutu test was the highest-end model since it was able to defeat Samsung Galaxy S7 edge easily.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

The second place belongs to Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Spec-wise, the phone packs a large 5.5-inch curved Super AMOLED 2K display, a Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890 processor, IP68 for being dust and water resistant (over 1.5 meters and 30 minutes), and a combo of 12MP rear + 5MP front camera. Actually, it’s not strange at all since Meizu Pro 5 specs own a lot of great features such as a big 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of ROM (expandable up to 128GB), an Exynos 7420 chip, Flyme 5.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a set of 21MP primary plus 5MP selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and fast charging tech allowing the device’s 3,050mAh battery to reach 65% in just 30 minutes.

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 5

This is somehow a surprise to us since the one listed in the top 10 here is Vivo Xplay 5, not the 6GB RAM Vivo Xplay 5 Elite. Though, Vivo Xplay 5 specs make it a very powerful smartphone: a curved 5.43-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD screen, a Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of non-expandable ROM, and Funtouch OS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Besides, the Xplay 5 also has a brilliant 16MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with PDAF plus dual-tone LED flash, an excellent 8MP selfie snapper, a dual SIM, LTE connectivity, Hi-Fi 3.0 tech, and a 3,600mAh battery.

10. Samsung Galaxy S6

Finally, we have Samsung Galaxy S6. Despite being launched quite long ago, Samsung Galaxy S6 with a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, an Exynos 7420 processor, 32/64/128GB of ROM (non-expandable), and 3GB of RAM is still a hot item on the shelves. Other Samsung Galaxy S6 specs are Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS (upgradable to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop), a fingerprint scanner, a 16MP+5MP shooter package, and a 2,550mAh battery.
