Apple in 2018: Long-Range Wireless Charging, Acquiring Netflix!

Previously, there have been many reports about Apple working on wireless charging devices for various gadgets: smartphones, wearables, laptops, and tablets. Now, the American tech giant seems to find a solution for long-range wireless charging. They have since applied for a patent at the US Patent and Trademark Office. Furthermore, it also comes with power scheduling. With the scheduling system, Apple users can pick to charge their devices in order.

Notably, you can select the iPad to be the first gadget to receive power, then Apple iPhone or iPod. On the other hand, FCC has recently approved of Energous’ WattUp, a long-distance wireless charging method. From what we can observe, the biggest difference between Apple’s pattern an this is the power scheduling setup. Moreover, Apple has applied for not one, but two licenses. While one patent highlights the wireless charger, the other includes internal charging equipment.

On the other hand, there is now a rumour that Apple in 2018 will acquire the popular streaming media – Netflix. Previously, many suspect that Apple is going to unveil a video subscription product to compete with Netflix. However, with the struggle with iTunes, Apple has set their eyes on Netflix to compete with other companies like Hulu or Amazon. Furthermore, they are now working on a brand new TV show which features many celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. It looks like Apple is working hard to compete with YouTube and the big guy Amazon!

When will Apple Long-Range Wireless Charging be available?
