Apple iPhone SE 2 features a front-display notch?

Based on what we learned so far, Apple is said to be working on bringing a refresh of its famous iPhone SE back to the market sometime this year. In general, it has been two years since the iPhone SE was released. Just recently, a leaked video surfaced on Chinese social media showing the iPhone SE 2 with headphone jack and physical home button. However, a 3D CAD renders with evidence that the device might not retain the physical 3.5mm headphone jack.

Meanwhile, the iPhone SE 2 shown in the leaks is an entirely different device carrying the latest in technology. Unlike what we expect, the SE 2 features a metallic rear panel and glass on the top and bottom edges to support antenna reception. Thus, the device might not support the wireless charging feature if it is true. Also, the renders also indicate a fullscreen display with minimal bezels on both sides, alongside FaceID security options on the notch.

On the other hand, Apple iPhone SE 2 specs include 4.0 inches screen (640 x 1136 pixels resolution). Furthermore, Apple iPhone SE 2 is going to run on the Apple A10 Bionic chipset and iOS 11.3. Regarding the storage, the phone comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB/ 128GB ROM (no card slot). Besides, Apple iPhone SE 2 camera sports a 12MP primary snapper and a 1.2MP selfie shooter. Lastly, its battery draws a smaller 1700mAh capacity. Based on the latest updates, Apple might remove the headphone jack and replace it with one of these: waterproofing, a haptic feedback engine, or a larger battery.
