After a long time waiting, Apple has finally unveiled their next iPhone generation at their exclusive launching event today in the US! In details, the US manufacturer introduced a total of three new handsets: Phone XS, XS Max and iPhone XR. Regarding the design, all three new iPhones have similar looks to the previous iPhone X flagship. Now, let’s check out what these new iPhones offer!

In details, the iPhone XS Max specs sport a large 6.5” AMOLED screen (1242 x 2688 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio). Meanwhile, the iPhone XS specs feature a 5.8” Super AMOLED (1125 x 2436 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio). For smoother operation, the screen’s touch sensing layer now runs at 120Hz (however, the UI still renders at 60fps). Moreover, the display still supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, but the dynamic range has increased by 60%.

Under the hood, they also come running on the latest Apple A12 chipset and iOS 12. As for Apple iPhone XS Max camera, the device sports a dual 12MP lenses system. Notably, the main wide-angle shooter has an all-new sensor with larger pixels – 1.4µm, up from 1.22µm. Meanwhile, the aperture remains at f/1.8. Furthermore, the telephoto camera uses a 12MP sensor, f/2.4 lens with 2x optical zoom (and it has OIS). On the front, there is another 7MP selfie sensor. As for the storage, the iPhone offers 64/256/512GB storage, 4GB of RAM. How about the battery box? Apple claims it is going to last 30 min longer than iPhone X flagship. Lastly, this iPhone now has 3D face scanner as the only biometric authentication method. A faster security enclave has sped up facial recognition compared to the first generation.

Lastly, the iPhone XS Max price should start at $1,100/€1,249/£1,099 for the 64GB variant. According to Apple, the iPhone is going to go on pre-order on September 14 and launch on September 21 with availability expanding a week later.
