The display is sufficiently bright to work outdoor and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Exynos 8895 SoC on the Galaxy S8+ is coupled with 6GB of RAM, also comes with 128GB of internal storage (extendable up to 256GB), and support wireless charging as well as fast charging.

The phone runs Android 7.0 (Nougat), upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo). 2. HTC U Ultra

Next on the list we have HTC U Ultra. The U Ultra comes with a 5.7-inch Super LCD5 QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, (513 ppi) and is protected by the new Corning 5 Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory expandable up to 256GB. The cameras are also interesting – the front is of 16MP and is great for the selfie photos, while the rear of the 12MP come with optical image stabilization (OIS) and can record 4K video. Otherwise, the battery is 3000 mAH. The HTC U Ultra in one word is a great machine that costs about $390.

3. LG G6

The LG G6 is next on the list and brings interesting specifications such as resistance to dust and water (IP68 certified). Also comes with IPS 5.7-inch QHD screen with a resolution of (1440 x 2880) pixels and excellent density of (564 ppi). The LG G6 is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm (MSM8996) Snapdragon 821 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The phone comes with 32GB/64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB. Speaking of optics, the primary camera is Dual 13MP while the front is 5MP. The LG G6 runs Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat) and is powered by a 3300 mAH non removable battery, and with the G6 we have Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging as well. The device comes with a price slightly above $480.

4. Huawei Honor 8 Pro

The Huawei Honor 8 Pro is one of the affordable Quad HD display phones which also comes with other great specs. The phone comes with a large  5.7-inches LTPS IPS LCD display which offers QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) pixels and has (564ppi). Huawei Honor 8 Pro is powered by the Kirin 960 octa-core processor and is coupled with the Mali G78 MP8 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and has 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 256GB using the expansion slot. The Honor 8 Pro running on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat). The highlight of the phone is its dual 12MP rear cameras (f/2.2), with phase detection, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. The phone features a massive 4000 mAH capacity battery to go along with the Quad-HD display, and also has support for rapid charging. The phone is priced close to $480.

5. Google Pixel 2 XL

The Google Pixel 2 XL comes with a bezel-less, OLED display panel with Quad-HD+ (2880×1440) resolution and a 6.0-inch screen size and with a density of (538 ppi). The Google Pixel 2 XL is powered by Qualcomm’s SoC, which is the Snapdragon 835. This is an octa-core chip which we’ve seen in the (OnePlus 5T, Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Nokia 8, and Mi Mix) with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The phone packs 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have exactly the same camera configuration, which is a single 12.2MP sensor at the back and an 8MP, fixed-focus sensor in the front. The Google Pixel 2 XL runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) out-of-the-box and is powered by a Li-Ion 3520 mAH battery. The device comes at a price that is quite strong and amounts $1080.

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Next, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will continue our list best of QHD display phones as well. On the front side is screen of 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED with (521 ppi density). The Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung device to sport dual cameras. The phone comes with primary camera of dual 12MP (f/1.7, 26mm, 1/2.55″, 1.4 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 12MP (f/2.4) and the front of the 8MP, (f/1.7). Samsung’s telephoto lens is also great. The Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and is powered by a Li-Ion 3300 mAH battery. In one word, a great choice for which you have to pay $930.

7. LG V30

For the end of the list we left LG V30. The V30 featuring a P-OLED 6-inch display with resolution of (1440×2880) pixels and (537 ppi). As you would expect from a flagship smartphone, the LG V30 packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The phone also comes with 64GB or 128GB (V30+) of internal storage which is expandable to 256GB. The V30 runs Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). One of the biggest highlights of the V30 is its Dual 16MP (f/1.6, 1 µm, 3-axis OIS, PDAF) + 13MP (f/1.9, no AF), while the front camera has 5MP (f/2.2). The battery capacity is 3300 mAH (non-removable), and supports quick charging (Quick Charge 3) plus wireless charging. The price for this phone is $760.
