Just last week, hundreds of OnePlus users have raised their concern about a dangerous threat about the OnePlus website. According to many reports, the first fraud action took place just within a year after OnePlus users used their credit card to purchase OnePlus’ products on the official website store.

After investigating on the OnePlus website hacked issue, the company has released their statement on the problem. In the period between November to January 11th, up to 40.000 users information has been stolen. This includes card number, expiry date and even security code. However, if you used PayPal or entered your credit card information in the system before this period, you wouldn’t be affected.

For now, the OnePlus company advises all of their users to check their credit cards carefully. Moreover, they also should review the bank statements and stay alert if there are any irregular charges. You can also contact OnePlus support team if you want further assistance. On the other hand, the Chinese brand is also looking into providing their affected users one year of free credit monitoring.
