2017 has been very eventful for Nokia fans. At MWC, Nokia made a comeback, with a number of phones. The first step of the return was truly amazing. Now, Nokia 8 smartphone is speculated to arrive in June, with SND 835!

In previous years, Nokia has been going through a tough time. However, this time, with the help of HMD Global, Nokia has made quite a return at this year’s MWC. The Nokia 3 & Nokia 5 were introduced, and an upgraded Nokia 3310 was also presented at the event. With Android as the main OS now, there are many possibilities for the brand. However, many people have realized that something is still missing from this comeback: a flagship device. However, word is that one such device will arrive later this year!

Yes, there have been reports of Nokia preparing for a flagship device. The phone may take the name of Nokia 8. Previously, there are words about a flagship device from Nokia labelled Nokia P1, and these two names may just be of the same device. Regardless of the name, with this new flagship device, Nokia is clearly on the track to compete with the big players in the market, like the Samsung Galaxy S series, the Pixel devices from Google, and the iPhone from Apple.

As for Nokia 8 specs, the new flagship from Nokia is expected to come equipped with the latest Qualcomm chipset, the SND 835 SoC. There are also speculations about the use of SND 660 instead. Anyhow, the chipset will be accompanied by 4 or 6GB of RAM. Outside, the phone will sport a metal unibody, and the screen will be QHD AMOLED display. It will also be IP68 certified (waterproof), VR-ready, and the camera will be 23MP. It is unclear whether the lens will be Carl Zeiss or not. Nonetheless, the phone sounds very promising!

3. Nokia Edge

4. Nokia C9

Nokia C9 has made it to our best 6GB RAM Nokia phones list. Nokia C9 sports a 5.5″ Quad HD screen and a Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. It also has 6 GB of RAM and a 22.3MP camera on the back. The flash at the back is a dual tone one. Other features include a non-removable battery of unknown capacity and fast battery charging technology. The phone may also support USB Type-C and expandable storage up to 256GB. Nokia C9 will run on the latest Android 7.0 version out of the box.

5. Nokia 12

Nokia 12 is the last device of the best 6GB RAM Nokia phones coming. In terms of Nokia 12 specs, it feature a 5″ OLED display screen with Full HD resolution. Two mid-range smartphones from Nokia will feature the Snapdragon 660 according to recent rumors. The name of the phones are not announced but we suspected it will be the Nokia 7 and Nokia 8.

Nokia 7 and Nokia 8: Mid-range Nokia Android phones

Nokia 8 has been leaked for several times this month. But this is the first time we’ve ever heard of Nokia 7. But apparently the retail names aren’t finalized yet, so they could end up with different names. However, keep in mind that Nokia 8 was also rumored to be a flagship with top specs. So, if this information is true, then perhaps the Snapdragon 835-powered phone will actually be called Nokia 9 or Nokia Edge.

In terms of Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 specs, both will feature the unofficial Snapdragon 660. This is Qualcomm’s latest processor which will succeed the Snapdragon 653 of last year. Nokia 7 will have a small screen, probably around 5″ with FHD resolution. Meanwhile, Nokia 8 will come with a bigger screen and 2K resolution display. Furthermore, the rumor also said that these two devices will have a different design than the Nokia 3, 5 and 6. They will feature very thin bezels and a new metal unibody design.

Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 will have fingerprint scanners, fast charging technology and big camera sensors. Nokia 8 was also rumored to have Zeiss optics. But Nokia refused to comment about this subject so nothing is certain right now. For now, these phones are expected to be announced in June along the official sale of other Nokia smartphones. Even so, it’s unlikely that we can get these phones before Q3.

The phone may also support USB Type-C and expandable storage up to 256GB. Furthermore, it will be equipped with a removable battery which has many advantages.
