The E series are devices that target emerging markets. Back in September 2016, Motorola announced 2 new phones in this series: the Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power. However, it seems new models are coming to replace these two soon. A tweet by Roland Quandt (@rquandt) mentions details of a Motorola phone seen on the FCC’s website. The phone’s model number is listed as Moto XT1750 and is codenamed “Watson”.

According to him, this new device will feature 8GB of internal memory, an uncommon thing to see in this day and age. The new Motorola budget phone will support dual SIM and is  powered by a 2350mAh battery. There’s no detail on the phone actual name, but the 8GB ROM hints at it being a Moto E since that’s the signature storage of the series (except for the E3 Power). However, the battery capacity is a little confusing. Last year model features a 2800mAh battery and a 5″ HD display. So the 2350mAh battery feels like a step backwards.

There’s no mention about the screen size either. But we should see at least a 5″ display on this phone. The 2015 model has a 4.5″ (540 x 960) display and the 2016 model uses a 5″ HD screen so there’s no reason to go with anything smaller this year. But then again, with a smaller battery capacity, things may turn out different.

Moreover, it is also claimed to have “more mysterious features”, yet perhaps they will not include a secondary display. Well, hope that something more interesting will be in the place.

4. Huawei P10 Plus

Number 4 is Huawei P10 Plus, which is expected to come with 2 premium versions: 64GB ROM + 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM + 6GB RAM. Continuing our list is 360 N5. According to many reports, this will be a rather interesting smartphone in terms of specs and design. Apparently, the phone will be made of metal and run by a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 6GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB), and a Snapdragon 653 64-bit octa-core chipset to be basic. Additionally, 360 N5 specs will also contain Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and a decent 3,290mAh cell. As for 360 N5 price, it has been mentioned to be 2,000 Yuan ($290); though, please take that with a pinch of salt since the manufacturer has not officially confirmed yet.

6. Xiaomi Mi6

No. 6 is Xiaomi Mi6. What we’ve heard so far is that Mi6 will be available with 3 main variants. The highest-end one will pack a ceramic body and 6GB of RAM while the other two flat-screened models will carry 4GB of RAM. For the rest, they don’t have any differences, which means whatever ver you get, you’re gonna have a 5.15-inch 2K display, 3D Touch tech, MIUI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 835 chip, 64/128GB of ROM (expandable), fast charging, and a dual 12MP primary + 4MP secondary snapper duo on board.
