The Dishonored series continue with the second installment of the game. Once more, revenge will be in your hands. Play as Empress Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano, two characters working together, to restore their power and influence on the Empire of the Isles. The game will be on sale from November 11, for PC, Xbox One and PS4, like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

3. Pokemon Sun/Moon

This game is the most anticipated game on the 3DS. A demo has been release since October 18. Although almost the entire Pokedex database was supposedly leaked via data mining, the demo has been extremely successful. It has been downloaded more than 3.5 millions times, breaking many of Nintendo’s records. With that, we can expect the game to do quite well on release. Pokemon Sun/Moon will be available on November 18, exclusively on 3DS.

4. Watch Dogs 2

The next installment of Watch Dogs will say good bye to the dark and gloomy streets of Chicago, and take us to the vibrant and colorful city of San Francisco. Players will play as a new protagonist, with tons of new hacking options and utilities. This sequel is looking to be an amazing trip, which can overcome the first one. Recently, the publisher has declared that the game has gone gold – meaning all developments are finished. Watch Dogs 2 will be released on Xbox One and PS4, starting from November 15.

5. Final Fantasy XV

Finally, after 10 years of development, Final Fantasy XV is going to hit the market very soon. Previously, the game was part of the Final Fantasy XIII mythology, called Final Fantasy Versus XIII. You will play as the protagonist Noctis, the prince of Kingdom of Lucis. Along with his 3 fellows, he must go on a journey to reclaim his kingdom back from he empire of Niflheim. Windows 10 has brought a lot to the table, especially for gamers. Now, that experience will be enhanced even more. In a recent report, it seems that Microsoft has been making background updates or Windows 10, in order to allow games to be played offline. In other words, when you are travelling somewhere with weak Internet, or no Internet at all, you don’t have to worry. You will still be able to play your games offline. However, there will be some restrictions.

On the Xbox support site, it says that for now, most games in the Store on you Windows 10 device supports offline play. For more details, please check out http://www.xbox.com. However, network co-op or multiplayer features will not work offline. It’s clear that some features, such as purchasing from the Windows store, that require Internet connection will not be available offline. The part about co-op and multiplayer though, is not very clear, as we don’t know whether LAN is available or not. Some tests on the Gears of War 4, which may get a movie adaptation, showed that the LAN co-op feature still works. We will need confirmation about this.

There are also some restrictions. The most notable one is that only one predefined device can be offline at a time, and it can be set up with your account. First, you will need to make sure all  latest updates are installed. Then go to the Store, choose the “Me” icon, and go to Settings, then make sure that the toggle is on for Offline Permissions. You can change the designated device three times per year. Then, you will have to prepare each game by opening the game while you are online, and you are set. It is similar to the “Going Offline” feature on Steam, but more tedious. Luckily it only affects games on the Windows Store.

Final Fantasy XV to have online co-op play!

Final Fantasy is one of the greatest JRPGs of all time. There have been 14 numbered titles so far, with XI and XIV being MMORPG. The franchise has been known to have deep story, well developed characters, and interesting battle systems that very strategic. Some of them has been considered great legacies of Square Enix. This year, we will great the 15th installment of the franchise, which will be late November. This installment will have one new feature: online co-op.

In the recent Paris Game Week event, Square has revealed that Final Fantasy XV will feature online co-op play. This new feature will come in the form of a DLC, and players with season pass can get access to it immediately. This DLC is called “Comrades”, which allows up to four players to play as Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus together as a group. It has not been known yet about the price of this individual DLC, and the Final Fantasy XV season pass price is $25.

Along with “Comrades”, there will also be three other DLCs, focusing on each of Noctis’s companions. Also, in this event, Square has also announced that the game itself has gone gold, which means that all developments are finished. This is quite notable as well, considering that the game itself has been in development for the past ten years (it was previously titled Final Fantasy versus XIII).

According to The Nikkei Asian Review, the President of Sharp said that the future iPhone in the next year is likely to be applied OLED display technology instead of the current LTPS like right now.

Future iPhone: 5.5 inch, curved and OLED display

Compared with LTPS screens, the OLEDs offer sharper color contrast. Manufactures can be able to create curved and foldable screens due to the application of this technology. So far, the two rivals from Samsung including S7 edge and Note 7 has used the curved OLED screens. If Apple uses the technology for their new flagship, they can be a formidable opponent to Samsung.

The latest smartphones from Apple called iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus are said that they have no distinct difference from their predecessor iPhone 6. That might be the reason why Apple need to upgrade and innovate their new products. It is reported that the company is planning on 3 upcoming smartphones. One of those will feature 5.5 inch and OLED display, while other two will stick with the LTPS display technology.

Although not much has been disclosed yet about this upgrade, we do know that it will look way better than in previous consoles, and will run smoother. It will support 4K resolution (upscaled or native is not yet known), and graphical enhancements is guaranteed. The futuristic world of the game will become much more alive than ever!

3. Fallout 4

Like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, not much has been revealed about the upgrade on PS4 for Fallout 4. Bethesda, Fallout’s publisher, as said that the company expected the game to take full advantage of the processing power of PS4 Pro to support 4K resolution. There will also be enhanced lighting and graphics. Not much else has been disclosed, and we still have to wait for more details about the vast world of Fallout!

4. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

This is another case of confirmed upgrade for the PS4 Pro, but players will need to wait for more details about the game itself. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has been confirmed by its publisher to have super sampling anti-aliasing for the PS4, along with other graphical enhancements. Hopefully we will get more updates in the future!

5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered

Activision has stated that there will be big enhancements for this re-release of the Modern Warfare series on PS4 Pro. The texture will be improved, there will be support for 4K resolution (“dynamic” in Activision’s words) while keeping the 60 frame per second (FPS) rate. That will certainly give gamers a much better experience playing the game.
