5. Kodak Ektra

Continuing our list is KODAK EKTRA and It’s not hard at all to guess that the handset will be a camera-centric one since we know who Kodak is, huh?! Spec-wise, it’s got a 21MP main + 13MP secondary snapper duo coming along with a custom-built cam app controlled by intuitive haptic touch and allowing you to adjust to HDR, Landscape, Portrait, Macro, Sport, Night-time, Panorama or Bokeh. No doubt this Kodak phone will bring you gorgeous shots as well as awesome experience in taking photos. Other Kodak Ektra specs are 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, plus a 3,000mAh battery, and its price is £449 or $549.

6. BlackBerry DTEK60

Number 6 is a BlackBerry smartphone named DTEK60. Spec-wise, it packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS LCD screen, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 21MP rear + 8MP front shooter set, 32GB ROM (expandable), 4GB RAM, and a 3,000mAh cell with Quick Charge 3.0 tech. It’s gonna be BlackBerry’s first high-end device after BlackBerry Priv and perhaps carry a price tag of around $499 when going on sale on October 25. However, at the moment, no official words or confirmation from the manufacturer have been made for its availability and cost. So, let’s wait and see!

7. Xiaomi Mi Note 2

Here we have Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which has been said to be in mass production now and expected to debut on October 25. Besides, some reports have also unveiled some of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specs, including a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 2K display with Force Touch tech, a Snapdragon 821 chip set, 4/6GB of RAM paired with 64/128GB of ROM, a 23MP Sony IMX318 primary + 12MP Sony IMX378 selfie cam package, and a huge 4,100mAh cell supported by Quick Charge. Possibly Xiaomi Mi Note 2 price will be $415 for the 4GB + 64GB version while the 6GB + 128GB will cost $445.

8. OPPO Find 9

OPPO Find 9 is the next device on our list. It’s not been launched yet, but according to what we know so far, OPPO Find 9 specs will contain a Gorilla Glass 5 display that can “withstand face-down drops of up to 1.6 meters high in up to 80% of occurrences”, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, 6/8GB of RAM,  128GB of internal storag, a 21MP dual rear + 16MP front snapper duo, and a large 4,100mAh cell supported by Super VOOC fast charging technology. 9 + 10. Smartisan M1 and M1L

Finally, let’s say hi to the duo Smartisan M1 and M1L. Spec-wise, Smartisan M1 specs have a 5.15-inch Full HD display and a 3,050mAh battery while Smartisan M1L specs offer bigger ones: a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen and a 4,080mAh batt. For the rest, their specifications are the same: Android based Smartisan OS 3.0, Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset, Quick Charge 3.0, 4/6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB of ROM, and a 23MP Sony IMX318 rear + 4MP OmniVision 4688 front camera package. Price-wise, Smartisan M1 4GB + 32GB cost 2,499 Yuan or $370; Smartisan M1L 4GB + 32GB is 2,799 Yuan ($414) and 6GB + 64GB is 2,999 Yuan ($444).

Overwatch PTR patch coming soon: What we know

Another PTR patch is what the gamer base of Overwatch already expected. However, in an announcement recently, Geoff Goodman, the chief designer, has mentioned that this PTR patch will be a bit different than the others in the past. Traditionally, PTR patches are used to flesh out new aspects to the public. This time though, the PTR patch will be more experimental.

Basically, this time around there will be significant changes to the heroes. That may affect gameplay a lot. What’s more, the changes are going to stay for longer. However, Goodman also assured gamers that the changes are not permanent, and if they are deemed unsuitable, they will be removed. Not every change in this PTR patch will remain in the next PTR cycle. So, gamers, there is no need to worry too much. The statement is truly intersting, and we have to wait for what Riot has in store for us.

With this information, many are expecting the debut of the long-awaited Sombra, who has been in the news as of late to be a new hero. It would be great if she could join the roster right in this patch. On the other hand, there is some bad news: there will not be any changes to Symmetra. Even though she a hot topic of discussion, Riot has deemed that changes to the hero would require too much effort, and will change many aspects of the game. So, don’t expect anything new for Symmetra, or you will be disappointed!

Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer has officially dropped!

After so much speculation, the cat is finally out of the bag. Red Dead Redemption 2 is totally happening. We got the confirmation from Rockstar earlier, and then the publisher has graced us with an official trailer. Although this first trailer has not revealed much about the plot, the characters, or the gameplay, it is still quite impressive, and has certainly left quite a mark.

First of all, the graphics is awesome. We can see the Wild West recreated in immense details, as if we are there in person. Certainly this aspect will utilize the PS4 (normal and Pro) and Xbox One’s increased processing power. The settings of the Wild west, with cowboys and the inhabitants of the desert, same as in the first game, will surely bring nostalgia to many players. Finally, there is this: “Listen to me, when the time comes you gotta run and don’t look back!”. Seriously, this is too cool to pass up!

Although, there is still a bummer: no announcement of PC’s availability yet. As of now, this title is still console-exclusive. This news is disappointing for a lot of gamers, including us as well. However, there is still much to hope for. Apparently, during this trailer release, Rockstar also said that the original RDR on PS3 is now available on PlayStation Now, meaning we can stream the game on PC. So, the possibility of a PC installment, or at least a port, is still there. Just look at GTA 5, also from Rockstar: although the PC version came way later than the console counterpart, it has been a massive success.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: 6GB RAM, 16MP cameras

Last time, the first 6GB RAM smartphone from Samsung was spotted on Antutu and excited many Samsung fans with great specs like 16MP camera, 4000mAh battery. Now, it seems that this Korean company is about to bring another 6GB RAM device to the market- Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. This handset is the higher version of Galaxy C9. The company will unveil this phone in China in the next few days.

As the sibling, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro specs are similar to its sibling C9. Under the hood, the phone will run on a 1.95Ghz octa-core SND 653 processor and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Like C9, this new flagship will pack 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of inbuilt storage. If you think this memory is not enough, you can expand it up to 256GB via a microSD card.

For photography, the company will add a 16MP selfie shooter and a 16MP camera with f/1.9 and a dual-LED flash on the back. It appears that Samsung is having a competition with Oppo which also has a duo 16MP cameras R9s and R9s Plus. C9 Pro will come with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display and a huge 4000mAh battery capacity supported with fast charging.

Galaxy C9 Pro: price and release date

After the Note 7 explosion incident, Samsung appears to invest more and be more cautious in their products. With 6GB RAM and two 16MP cameras, C9 Pro will be one of the best handsets in the market. It will be the fierce rival to Vivo X7 Plus, especially the sibling Oppo R9s and R9s Plus. This new Samsung flagship will be available in 2 colors: Gold and Rose Gold. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro price will come at about $470. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro release date is still a mystery. Until recently, we were still speculating about Nintendo’s new device, the NX. However, Nintendo has surprised us with the revelation of the Nintendo Switch. Let’s take a look!

Nintendo NX is now Nintendo Switch!

On October 21, Nintendo indeed introduced their new device. Although previously called “NX”, now the new console comes with a new name. It will be called Nintendo Switch. Nintendo launched a 3-minute video to reveal the new and highly anticipated system. As per speculations, it is indeed a console/handheld hybrid that will use cartridges. You can see the intro video below for a better look at the device in action.

If you buy the package, you will get the Switch device, sitting on “Nintendo Switch Dock”. Its purpose is to connect it to a TV. However, you can actually lift the device off this dock. When you do, it will switch to portable mode immediately! Good reason for the name “Switch”. There are two portable controllers on either side of the Switch device, called “Joy-Con” controllers. You can use them attached to the main device, or they can be separated and used wirelessly. One players can use each controller on each hand, two players can each use one, and there are many players options too. So much versatility!

With that, Nintendo intends to let players play games at home and on the go as well. The company stated that gamers can play b”however they want”. In the video, we also see the demo of some games as well. There is NBA 2K, a version of Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and a seemingly 3D game of Mario.
