TrueNorth: Samsung’s new chipset that can replace human’s brain!
It seems that Samsung won’t stop at smartphones only! The brand, along with IBM, has just developed TrueNorth – a brand new chipset that can function as the human’s brand! Let’s take a look!

TrueNorth – a breakthrough technology or a risk?
The human’s brand and the operational center of a computer are the two totally different entities! Human tends to be influenced by their natures and factors from their surroundings. On the other hand, computers solve problem by their own processors! The human’s brand is more efficient, because the energy that a human brand needs in order to complete tasks is 100 million times bigger than in computers.
That’s why scientists from big brands has been focusing on chipsets that resemble the structures of our brains. TrueNorth from Samsung and IBM is one of the best evidence! This chipset include a MASSIVE number of cores: 4096 cores. This capacity is as powerful as 1 million of neurons and 256 millions of artificial synapses! The way the information is transferred and stored in this chipset is the same as in the nervous system of human.

Last Thursday, Eric Ryu, the deputy chairman of the department of Research Development at Samsung High-tech Academy, has proved the ability of TrueNorth when applied in computers. This chipset can recognize the hand gesture just with one-tenth of common smartphone’s power. This technology has been already by Lawerence Livermore – National Research Center in information security for a while. America’s air-force also uses this tchnology in analysing uncommon cases and in automatic drones.
TrueNorth – What is it capable of?
With a breakthrough sensor, TrueNorth can identify images at the speed of 2000 frames per second – enough recreate 3D maps, auto-drive and resognize hand gestures in the most accurate way! According to a video posted on the Internet, this sensor is able to distinguish different hand movements precisely even from 3 meter away! This is undoubtedly a strong foundation for many future technologies.
DouSkin: Flash tattoo that can control your smartphone!
A brand new smartphone controlling technology named DouSkin has just been developed in the form of a … tattoo! Let’s take a look to see what this tool is capable of!

DouSkin: Brilliant smartphone controller!
Have you ever imagined you can control your smartphone just by tapping your tattoo? It’s not a dream anymore! With this new technology, you can totally do that! This technology takes the form of a tattoo lying on your skin. It was developed by MIT Media Lab and Microsoft Research. DouSkin is inspired by the currently trending flash tattoo that appears frequently in the wrists of many fashionistas.
To be more specific, DouSkin technology is developed by Cindy Hsin-Liu Kao, a PhD student at the Media Lab in Tawan. She decided to install some technology into this aesthetics. She explained in her promoting video that there has been a great culture of cosmetics and street styles, which allows everybody to very easily change and edit their appearance whenever they want! And she was like “why don’t we bring that culture to a whole new level?”.

And Cindy has arrived with DouSkin. This is a combination of both fashion and technology! Besides controlling smartphones, this tattoo can even controls some other smart devices like laptops and computers. This tattoo is made of gold metal leaf, which is a cheap, robust and especially skin-friendly material. For beginners, DouSkin can be turned into a traditional interfaces with 2D trackpads, sliders and buttons! For advanced users, this one can be turned into anything they want!
DouSkin: Not just a controller!
DouSkin even features soft displays on our skin. These displays are actually the ink-like qualities of thermochromic pigments. So when the body temperature changes, the tattoo changes its color! Moreover, this tattoo can communicate via NFC! This allows users to store their data in the tattoo and later transfer the data into their smartphones or other NFC devices. With this technology, we have the right to hope for many many other future technology that combines science and fashion together!

Battery is the best part of this phone that I want to bring to Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime review. The Xiaomi phone can easily get you through a full day even if you are a heavy user. The phone has a 4100mAh battery, slightly bigger than the 4000 mAh Redmi Note 3 battery, and it lasts much longer than its predecessor. Redmi 3s Prime camera and flash are placed at the top left corner, the fingerprint sensor lies at the center of the upper part, where your index finger can perfectly fall on without looking. As for Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime price only $104, a 720p display can be measuring 5 inches is good. Redmi 3s Prime also has a pretty bright display. The maximum brightness with auto brightness on this Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime review is 610 lux, which is considerably brighter than the Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note.

On recording FHD video, the maximum temperature for 10 minutes goes up to 35.9 degrees celsius. It is proper that the temperature never goes above 40 degrees, which is excellent.

Octa-core vs Quad-core: is there a difference?
In the battle of Octa-core vs Quad-core, you will know which one will be the best chipset to take care your smartphone. So, let’s get starting!

Octa-core vs Quad-core: number is nothing!
Quad-core used to be a most powerful processor last year. But in 2016, Octa-core chipset is becoming a trend. But whether Octa-core is better than Quad-core? Octa-core chipset has double the number of the cores than quad-core, right? Yes. So they are stronger in twice, right? No. The numbers are nothing here. So, which chipset is the best today?
Actually, the key difference between the two processors is the way they work. First, let’s talking about quad-core. In this chipset, each core is put in the same work and at the sane time. It let you do multitasking fastly and efficiently, including playing 3D games, transferring data to other devices, and getting nice camera performance.

On the other hand, Octa-core includes two quad-cores. They get responsibility for different tasks. In almost of time, the lower processor has to take care the smartphone performance. The higher-faster quad-core will only start its work when advanced tasks are needed. By that way, the chipset will avoid the “overloaded situation” when doing multiple tasks. As the result, your smartphone will reduce the battery consumption and run faster.
Octa-core vs Quad-core: What is the best processor for your smartphone?
Nonetheless, Octa-core chipset is not always the best chipset. Octa-core is great. But it is not necessary for all user. Many people do only 1-3 task at the same time with simple work: Calling, Messaging, listening music, surfing the web, etc. That time, Quad-core chipset is a wasted feature. But that is not mean Quad-core chipset is not good. If you are a true gamer, a powerful internal basing on an Octa-core chipset is a dreaming asset!
