Xiaomi laptop and smartphone are coming soon

On July 27, Xiaomi will hold the technology event in Beijing, China. In this event, the company could bring to users two new devices. That information was confirmed on Weibo account of Xiaomi’s director. While their names haven’t been revealed, recent reports suggest that two devices will be a laptop called Mi laptop and a new Xiaomi smartphone. According to the time this phone was launched, Xiaomi could bring a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 on this month.

First, let’s take a look at the first Xiaomi Mi Laptop.  This new Xiaomi device is reported to be powered by Intel Atom processor: Intel Core i7-4500u. This processor is supported by 16GB of RAM. One of the reports said that the Mi laptop sports 15.6-inch display while the other is known as just a 12-inch screen. Besides, this Xiaomi Mi laptop might resemble an Apple laptop. To keep cost down, Windows may be replaced to Linux Distro. But it still remains great performance.

The next upcoming Xiaomi device is reported to be Redmi Note 4. This phone has been unveiled from leaked images from the Internet. These images show that an all-metal back side, along with a 5.5-inch screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specs haven’t been finalised, but this phone will sport a dual-camera on the rear. It could own 2 or 3GB ROM under the hood.

To have this success, this guy had to do many things including sacrificing many nights of sleep. Being a head of a start-up means he had no free time to play the Pokémon game in the day. He did it at night.

Leaving the office at around 6-6:30 pm, Johnson started walking around Brooklyn and Manhattan. These walks took about 8 hours per time. He could probably walk about 8 miles/day in two weeks. He even took a trip to Jersy city and New York city. Well, it took a whole long journey with many time and efforts to get this accomplishment.

Galaxy Note 7: the first waterproof Note

The first thing makes Note 7 is worth waiting for is the waterproof feature. This feature is not a strange spec on smartphones today. Galaxy S7 (Edge) from the company is a typical example for the waterproof phone. However, there has been no Note sporting this spec. So, with the water resistance, the next Note generation from Samsung will be the first Note to have this. The second reason is a USB Type C-port. The fourth cool feature which can make you love this handset is the color. Samsung devices usually come with some typical colors like Gold, Silver, Pink, White or Black. However, now this Note 7 is gonna show up with a brand new and unique color: Blue Coral. Besides, there will be some more color versions such as Gold or Silver. And this year, the S Pens will also have the same outfit with the devices.

First of all, let’s talk about the Gorilla Glass technology! This kind of Glass is made by Corning Incorporated – an American manufacturer. This kind of glass is an ion-changed glass. There are two main processes to produce such kind of glass. First of all, normal glass is purified via a v-shaped trough and then the pure glass is cooled down and cut into small rectangle sheets. Secondly, these sheets is placed in a 400 degree Celcius with molten salt. This step helps replace the small atom from the glass with a larger atom from the salt. In the same area of glass, the larger atoms are more compressed and hence much attached to each other!

Back to Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5, the new manufacturing technology has figured out a better method to make such atoms more attached to each other, hence making the surface of the glass stronger! The brand claims that Gorilla Glass 5 has better from the performance! It can survive drops onto unforgiving surfaces. According to their lab test, this kind of glass stayed uncracked up to 80% of the time it was dropped from 1.6 meters in the face! Very impressive!

John Bayne, the vice president and general manager of Corning’s Incorporated, announced that “With many real-world drops occurring from between waist and shoulder height, we knew improving drop performance would be an important and necessary advancement.”
