Windows doesn’t seem as popular as Android in the current smartphone market. However, the OS from Microsoft still spots a stable position. Here are the 4 reasons why Windows phones are still worth buying!
Windows phones: Strong performance and professional interface
First, Windows phones come with a great performance. There is no denying that with the same RAM, the Windows phone performs smoother than the Android phone. Mostly, an Android device has to feature at least 2GB RAM to offer a seamless performance. Meanwhile, only with 1GB of RAM, a Windows phone can offer the same thing! Nokia Lumia 925 is a perfect example! You don’t need any system-boosting apps or any cached-cleaning extensions!
Second, Windows phones have a professional interface. If you are confused by different icons and gadgets in Android phones, Windows will be a perfect choice for you. Every apps and features in Windows phone come with the same design called “tile”. You may say that it’s boring to have the same interface over and over, but actually this Microsoft OS is flexible as well! There are countless color themes for you to choose or you can even set your favorite photo as the background of the tiles. The tiles in particular are also very abundant. There are many apps for you to design the tiles you want instead of using the default tiles.
Third, Windows phones are very compatible with your PCs or laptops. Most PCs and laptops nowadays also run Windows . And that makes it easier to synchronize the files from your phone to your laptop, especially the documents. Windows phones also feature many useful apps for office tasks, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Onedrive and more!
Windows phone: better security!
One more thing that makes Windows phone a great choice is the security. Such smartphones RARELY encounter virus. On the other hand, we all know that this problem often happens to Android or iOs. So if you use Windows phone, it is less challenging for you to protect your phone from virus or hacker.

Smartphones with unibody have become more and more popular nowadays. So let’s see what are the good things about unibody smartphones AND the drawbacks as well!
Unibody smartphones: the drawbacks
First up, because they come with a unibody construction, the battery are NOT removable! So if there’s any problem with the battery or the battery is dead after long time use, there’s no way you could replace it with a new battery. In that case, the only thing you could do is to buy a brand-new smartphone! That also happens when there are some hardware problem.
Another bad thing that goes with unibody smartphones is that they often cost higher. This is easy to understand. It takes more effort to produce a unibody smartphones. Moreover, such smartphones are a big trend right now. And we already know that everything trendy is often more expensive than ordinary things! At this point, you may think why unibody smartphones are so popular while they feature such bad things?
Unibody smartphones: the good things
Well, we can’t deny that smartphones with unibody look more beautiful. I personally want my phone to have a seamless case. And I’m not the only one for sure! Unibody smartphones often come with a more luxurious and premium appearance, not to mention that the majority of them are metal! That is the reason why people tend to opt for a smartphone with unibody construction.
Another good feature we can have from unibody smartphones is the waterproof function! Obviously you cannot ask for that function from a non-smartphone! This function will save you a lot of money to repair your phone when you accidentally drop it into the water. So I would rather pay some extra money for that protection instead of spending that money on preparing my water damaged phone.

Huawei, the third largest smartphone OEM in the world, is drawing huge attention with their current project. Reports from reliable sources are suggesting that the company is working on an exclusive mobile OS in order to minimize their reliance on Google’s Android….
New Huawei mobile OS: having Apple and Nokia joining the game
Huawei is known as the biggest smartphone producer in China (despite ranking 2nd after Xiaomi sometimes) and the third-largest worldwide. They have impressive sales report with huge smartphone units shipped every year. And they don’t plan to stay just that. Huawei even targets to beat Apple and Samsung in the international competition. In order to get closer to that, the company needs to find a good way to enter bigger market outside China and Asia, like the US and other major EU markets.
For right now, Huawei flagships are operating mainly on the company’s hardware. However, they put some Android implementation and some Apple’s iOS inspiration on it. For example, Huawei P9, one of the most powerful smartphones to date, gets EMUI 4.1, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but also feels really close to Apple’s iOS. This doesn’t really satisfy many users as well as tech lovers. Therefore, Huawei is working to improve their EMUI Android skin. But more importantly, the company is also believed to be producing a new mobile OS of their own in order to rely as little on Google as possible.
In order to make the best OS possible for future Huawei flagships, rumors have it said that Huawei have hired Abagail Brody, former Apple designer. More interestingly, former Nokia engineers are also said to be part of the Huawei team that are taking responsibility for this new mobile OS.
Huawei + Nokia = best selling combination?
Nokia is surely remains as a best selling brand name in the world. By working together with Nokia former engineers, is it a business strategy of Huawei in order to attract public attention? Because after all, Huawei said that, further information about their proprietary new mobile OS is still a secret well kept up till now. (Source)

Vivo X7 turns out to be faster than both of the flagship smartphones when it comes to unlocked screen using fingerprint. Vivo X7: Is it worth buying?
However, Vivo X7 is going to be the latest smartphone hitting the market while Samsung smartphone and Iphone were launched for years.
